To promote interest in mathematics at Lakehead university. Also to help facilitate a community and plan activities amongst mathematics students at Lakehead University.

Eligibility requirement: To enroll in the Mathematics and Statistics Club, students must either be majoring in Mathematics or consistently taking Mathematics throughout their university careers.
