About Lakehead University Nursing Association (LUNA)

The purpose of LUNA is to enhance the student life of all nursing students currently enrolled at Lakehead University by: Establishing social activities; Organizing educational opportunities, including health promotion events; Acting as a liaison between students and faculty; Lobbying on behalf of issues that affect LUNA members; Providing volunteering opportunities within the community for nursing students; Creating leadership development opportunities for sitting board members and all nursing students; Continuing to strengthen relationships with other nursing organizations such as the Canadian Nursing Students' Association (CNSA), Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO), and College Of Nurses Of Ontario (CNO).
