About Lakehead GNCTR Team (GNCTR)

The Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race has been one of the longest running engineering competitions in Canada. The goal is to build a 350 lbs toboggan with concrete sliding surface, a stable steering system, and a functional braking system. Teams will compete in multiple races with their toboggans. This project is an incredible opportunity for students to learn and practice skills that would be used in industry today. From networking with industry partners to developing hands-on-skills used in the industry environment. Any team can have up to 30 competitors which presents many students with the opportunity to learn and have fun in the competition!

As a member of this club, you will get to take part in the activities of the club, receive updates and mailings from the club leadership, and vote in club elections.
