About Student Food Advisory Council (SFAC)

The Student Food Advisory Council is a group made up of students from Lakehead who are passionate about student food security. As a group, we advocate on behalf of students to address student food insecurity on our campus. We are a LUSU Student club and a sub-group (or working group) of the Food Security Committee. As a LUSU student club, we are able to bring together a diverse group of students who are passionate about the issue and work with LUSU and the LUSU Food Resource Centre to bring forward student issues surrounding food (in)security.

As a member of this club, you will get to take part in the activities of the club, receive updates and mailings from the club leadership, and vote in club elections. If you need more information about SFAC and the kind of work it undertakes, you should contact Hugo Petrone at hwpetron@lakeheadu.ca.
