About Media and Film Literacy Club (MFLC)

Promoting Media and Film literacy among new students, especially the new media studies students. Creating Media Awareness among Lakehead students. Practicing Media production and filmmaking with fellow students. Creating a community of young filmmakers and media producers. Competing in Canadian media production and short film contests. Representing Club projects at student-based Art and Film festivals. Promoting creative ideas and media diversity among Lakehead students. Helping new Media students through mentorship. Providing a platform for Lakehead students to exhibit their creativity through media and film.

As a member of this club, you will get to take part in the activities of the club, receive updates and mailings from the club leadership, and vote in club elections.
