About Bora Laskin Chess Club (BLCC)

This club's purpose is to provide a friendly and welcoming third space for students to meet, hangout and bond over something that has nothing to do with classes. This is a casual environment where anyone from beginner-intermediate can expect to learn the basics of chess, from strategies, tactics and concepts at their own pace. We hope to get students fired up about chess!

As a member of this club, you will get to take part in the activities of the club, receive updates and mailings from the club leadership, and vote in club elections.
